The Lamborghini Museum in Sant’Agata Bolognese is opening the doors to an exhibit called, “Film Emotions – Lamborghini and the World of Cinema” on display from May 10 to October 31, 2018. The exhibit is a tribute to the exciting cars from the House of the Raging Bull that have left their mark on the big screen.
Starting off with two iconic titles like “Italian Job” of 1969 and “The Cannonball Run” (1981), in which the Miura P400 and Countach respectively make a magnificent appearance, the brand’s filmography continues in different movies of various kinds and depths, from “Rocky IV” (1985) in which the main character, played by Sylvester Stallone, drives his marvelous black Jalpa in the night to “Fast & Furious 4” (2009) with an LM002. The immersive route continues up to more recent titles like “Batman – The Dark Knight Rises” (2012), in which the Batmobile is a sparkling grey Aventador, and “Doctor Strange” (2016), behind the wheel of a Huracán.
From the Miura boom on, every model that has left the House of the Raging Bull has thrilled entire generations and has raised popular beauty to unexpected heights. If today everyone considers Lamborghini a pop icon, it is also thanks to the movie industry that, ever since the 1960s, has always found an inexhaustible source of references to design of the future and symbology of a luxury only few can afford, although desired and dreamt of by so many, in the Sant’Agata Bolognese super sports cars.
Visit the exhibit dedicated to the most iconic Lamborghinis that have appeared in the movies. Rocky’s gloves and the uneatable brioche of Bar Sport are displayed next to the cars that have accompanied the dreams and excitement of movie-goers around the world.
On the occasion of the “notte bianca” (late shopping night) in Sant’Agata Bolognese, on Saturday 8 September the Lamborghini Museum will remain open until 11 p.m. Tickets will be priced at € 12 instead of € 15 from 7 to 11 p.m., and the first 50 guests can take advantage of a guided tour of the Museum at no extra cost. Don’t miss out!
